Going to start putting in the hours soon, just need to set out a schedule to be able to keep to, something like 3-4 hours playing 1 hour reviewing seems fairly possible. I think 4 days per week of this and then at least 12 hours over the weekend should be a realistic goal and be enough to cancel out variance. Not sure how many tables to play because HU needs a lot of focus but I'll switch between 2 or 3 to see which gives the best hourly rate.
Not much to report so far, started out on NoiQ on Friday, haven't really been playing, just testing the software out and deciding if I want to stay there, the rakeback is nice and the games are soft, up 16 buy ins so far, but there isn't much action on the site, if I can get a deal on a more active site like cake I might move over there.
I've been playing a mixture of HU SNG and HU Cash, both games seem to play very similar on this site which is a bit weird but good news for me.
I'm not sure the best way to convert hands so I'll just post this one for now because I thought it was a really interesting opening hand. I don't like looking people up so light because generally I don't see people making these plays on a bluff, but this one just felt right;
Players(max 2):
villain (2,000.00 in seat 1)
Hero (2,000.00 in seat 2)
Dealer: Hero
Big Blind: villain (25.00)
Small Blind: Hero (15.00)
Hero was dealt: Qh - 5s
Hero Raise (60.00)
villain Call (50.00)
Flop 5d - 2h - 9h
villain Check
Hero Bet (112.00)
villain Call (112.00)
Turn 5d - 2h - 9h - Jh
villain Check
Hero Bet (195.00)
villain Call (195.00)
River 5d - 2h - 9h - Jh - Kc
villain Bet (764.00)
Hero Call (764.00)
villain shows: 4s - As (high card Ace)
Hero shows: Qh - 5s (a pair of Fives)
Hero wins: 2,292.00 (with a pair of Fives)
The structure of these is kind of weird too with 2,000 starting chips and 15/25 blinds with 8 minute increases, but I am adjusting. More updates to come plus tons more hand histories as soon as I find out a better, less spammy way to post them.
